December 15, 2016: Trusting the Currents will be the featured book for Books on the Subway on Thursday, December 15th. They will place 10 copies of the book throughout the New York subway system for people to discover, then post via social media where the books can be found. People find the books, read them and then place them back on the subway for someone else. Great idea! An underground library! August 27, 2015: Trusting the Currents has been awarded a prestigious B.R.A.G Medallion. The Book Readers Appreciation Group (B.R.A.G.) recognizes and promotes quality Indie-published books. They select those that they believe deserve to be considered. Members of their global readers and book club groups then read these books. If this group unanimously agrees that this is a quality book they could recommend to their best friend, it is given a B.R.A.G. Medallion. Only 10% of books submitted receive the B.R.A.G. The Nautilus Book Awards honors books of high literary merit that “promote spiritual growth, conscious living and positive social change.” Last year’s Gold award winner in Fiction was Barbara Kingsolver’s bestseller, Flight Behavior. Previous Nautilus Award recipients include The Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Desmond Tutu and Marianne Williamson.
